Thumbs down Performance Machine

I am not one to bash companies but I have to put this out there because of the money that I spent with them. I have a Deuce and decided to change the rims and do a drive side set uo with all PM components. My shop spoke to them and they assured us there was plenty of room for everything to fit. They say 3-4 weeks and it took 8 weeks for delivery, then we install the rim and it is offset by almost an inch and rubbing on the right side of my new fender.

They inform us to send the whole set up back and they will replace the spacer and told my shop that the rim still won't be centered and I have to cut the struts on the frame, reweld with an offset a mount the fender which is a mod and mods cost me more money. Then my shop tells me PM won't cover the shipping and I had to pay for road trip shipping from Jersey to Cali. Anyone else have problem like this with them. I am blown away that they would have such poor policies. F*CK PM!!!

Ummmm Fvck PM.

I bought a set of PM renthal grips for my Train.

The throttle side was a sloppy rattling mess. It felt like it wasnt supposed to be on my bike.

Called those Fvcks...Attitude. Like their chit dont stink and since they are PM they can do as they please.

After much back and forth with some snotty punk tech guy they exchanged the grips with me paying shipping one way and them paying the other.

It took awhile to get those grips back.

Eff those dudes. I wont spend my hard earned cash on their products unless they are used dirt cheap and on E-Bay.

A local wheel dealer told me that he really prefers to deal with RC Components because PM is a pain in the butt to work with. I have no personal experience.

I was looking at getting the PM Domino 21in wheel for the front of my fatboy. An experience like this makes me think twice about it. I can understand running into fitment issues (things happen) but it is how the company deals with them that makes the difference.

I had a totally different experience with PM. I'm running all PM components rims, pulley, rotors & calipers and had no problems installing any of it. When I ordered all my parts I was told about 3 weeks and piece by piece they came in on time. The only issue I had was the rear brake cable, I was told I had to run their rear cable ($80) for some reason. Well I put on a Magnum chromlite II cable and haven't had any problems.

I talked to one of my local shops about dealings with them. He said that if he orders PM parts through Drag Specialties, he has NO issues. But, dealing directly with them is always a hassle.

I went more custom with their drive side set up but made sure all fit and they said no problem. I understand that the custom route has some ups and down but the fact that said no to covering the shipping. I spend $3k just for the rear and they say **** it, it's your problem now. **** EM!!! and I hope they read this.
