Default My new Fatboy Deluxe

well not really new more like refurbished.
I bought my new fatboy in 2001. it has served me well, I have rode here from NJ to Sturgis 4 times, NJ to Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia to Key West TWICE, and from NJ to California and back in 18 days stopping at various locations along the way.
She is pushing 47k with the same tins so I decided before I take here to sturgis again this year I would give here a make over.
So I was going to paint here but finnally decided just to buy some new tins. I liked the tins off the deluxe mainly because of the tank emblems, so I went with those. My original color was White Pearl.
well once I did that this winter the rest of the bike started to look a litle dated. I changed the tank dash as well plus I added the fat tire kit going from a 130 to a 150. changed some old braided cabled to new ones, also updated some old chrome covers to real chrome peices.

She is not done (they never are) I was going to put a 3.5x21 100 spoke rim on the front and matching spokes on the rear, but I am worried they will not last long on this bike do to the heavy riding I put on this bike.

I plan on finishing her by adding harley original hard bags with the cycle vision kit, but have not decided on hard bags or leather ones.

Very sweet. I was looking at a set of custom tins locally that a guy was selling, but passed on them. Now after seeing how they look on your bike I wish I would have gotten them.

Looks great. You had a clean rear fender on the white one, are you gonna' leave the tombstone on the new tins?

BTW, You've got a killer NT...love the wheels!

Nicely done. Got to say, I love the Deluxe front fender and tombstone rear tail light/signal light install.

Hope you get another 50+ plus trouble free miles on the hybred (FatLuxe?).
