Shocks and reasonable are two words that do not belong in the same sentence. You get what you pay for. One of my friends got the progressive 422's and was not even close to happy. He then swapped them for an air ride and he is now happy.
If you want the rear lowered an inch and keep a nice ride get a used pair of HD shocks off a Deluxe softail. Can be had for ~$100. I actually prefer the ride over the stock fatboy shocks.
