anyone know of a reasonable after market shocks for my baby??

Check out Progessive Suspension's 422 series shocks.

Whats reasonable?

A set of ultimas is like $120 on Flea-Bizzle. They are crapola.


Progressive 422's are $400 and not crappy.

Modded stockers that will lower yer' scoot can be found for $100.00 on Flea-Bizzle. I dont know how well they work out......

Reasonable?

Shocks and reasonable are two words that do not belong in the same sentence. You get what you pay for. One of my friends got the progressive 422's and was not even close to happy. He then swapped them for an air ride and he is now happy.

If you want the rear lowered an inch and keep a nice ride get a used pair of HD shocks off a Deluxe softail. Can be had for ~$100. I actually prefer the ride over the stock fatboy shocks.

I am looking for a smoother ride and would like to lower the bike 1".
