Just looking for some reviews on these kits. I love the look, but want to make sure it doesnt take away from the ride at all for the price. Are they comfy and smooth, especially on longer rides? Thanks

I have one....their is a thread running at the moment that you should look up as quite a few opposing comments about their customer service and product value..

Depends on what you call comfy and smooth and whether you intend lowering the rear of the bike as suggested by Heartland or any of the other rear end conversion suppliers.
I've lowered my Softail by a couple of inches with a simple bolt on lowering kit. I'm pretty happy with the ride although it's clearly more bumpy than without lowering. I'm happy though as I've found a good balance between looks / performance and don't think I'm going to bother going to the added expense of air ride suspension.
I also did the conversion using alternative suppliers as the Heartland kit is pricey and customer service was non existent (outside of the US)
I have one and have nothing but good things to say about their qualtiy and customer service...although you will find some on here with opposing views but for the most part from what i've heard ...the majority are happy with the company....would recommend though you put on a good suspension...the cheaper the lowering kit you use the crappier the ride...am now waiting for a better set of shocks to come in...have ordered the Progressive 422 series...of course if you want the best get the air shocks
