You understand correctly. This is my first Harley. I've previously had/owned a Honda and a Suzuki but it's been 15 years since I let the Suzuki go. It's night and day on these bikes. I'm in love!
I rode her around the dealer's building and said, I'm ready. It's like I never got off a scoot. Great ride.
Spent the day showing her off to all I could. Will continue to do so all week if the weather cooperates. One guy who has a bike said, Your out riding in this wind?
I said, I picked her up yesterday, it's sunny, not raining. I'M RIDING! Love it although it did get brisk.
Rode her to work this morning. Gotta say, it was very brisk. When I got up and went turkey hunting at 5:15am, there was frost in the bottoms.
The ride down the valley had my face screaming for warmth. Once I hit the state highway though with the sun shining, it was so much better. Caught some construction guys stopping to listen to her go by. Got the thumbs up wave from a guy on the street in town.
Brisk but a wonderful ride. It's going to be a nice day. Can't wait to get off work.
I just cannot stay off this gal. Rode her to work today despite frost on the ground this morning. My face was freezing heading down the hollow until I hit the sun and highway!
Stopped by the plant building and took a ride for lunch as well and I cannot remember a more enjoyable ride home from work.
