Default 03 fatboy help

I am in the process of adding new wheels and a tail bagger kit for my fatboy well my first question is I purchesed a soft tail full fender for the front to go with the new 21 inch wheel well when i bought it the guy said i would want to re drill it to lower the fender to the tire i havent got my rims yet still being made but i want to paint the fender now has anyone done this on a fat boy or should i just use stock mounting holes on bracket rim is 21x3 with avon venon www mh90h 21
also my bike is black i think its vivid black im not sure but i think there was only one black that yr and there is no pearl right?



any fatboy pictures with 21 would be real nice to if anyone has some

Your bike is Vivid Black.The guy that sold you the fender must have assumed you were keeping the 16" wheels.I have 16" on mine and did lower the fender closer to the tire.If you're going with a 21" you are not going to need to lower the fender.It should fit just right,but I have heard of guys who had to enlarge the mounting holes so they could raise the fender a little to get the 21" under there.Check out Anubisss bike he has the same set up on the front that I think you're talking about

I am doing the same thing to my 02 Fatboy. I have installed FXST lowers. I was gonna chrome them out anyways, just went ahead and got the FXST ones. This raises the fender mounts on the forks and allows a 21" wheel on the front. Mine was already lowered 1 inch so the cowbells overlap perfectly. Ordered my wheels yesterday so I dont have any pics yet.

well im painting my fender and bags this week and rims should be hear monday i cant wait
