Does the paint on the swing arm get scratched when you mount these to it? It seems like the buckles might touch the paint.
The buckles for attaching them are placed on the inside of the bag so as not to scratch the swingarm. However, I put some blue electrical tape on my Rocker to protect it from the long term effects of the leather straps rubbing on the swingarm (see picture below).
I have a Garage Leathers solos bag (see picture below) and I love it. It is top quality all the way and Robert is great to work with. I can highly recommend the product.
I have the buckles on the inside of my Leatherworks bag and I got a roll of 2" electrical tape an put a couple of wraps around the swingarm to protect it from any rubbing. Works great!
another vote for the leatherworks.. one of the first things i put on my xbones.. i am not a fan of traditional saddle bags at all but this one doesnt look out of place at all... and it is great to be able to store a few things, it holds quite a bit. here is a pic.
