Just wondering as to which exhaust does everybody recmnd?? I've had Hard Krome 2 3/4 big straights on my 02 Yamaha V-star 1100 and they sounded great. Now that I have a 97 Fatboy, that has I believe are V&H staggards ? I am not to crazy about the look and the sound. They sound a little to flappy in the high end. I was looking at V&H Big Shot Longs. Just looking for a low smooth rumble.

I used to have hard kromes on my Kawa. Don't seem to be a big item for HD however. I installed a set of Rinehart' Flush Cut's on my softail last Friday. I love 'em. Before those I had V&H short shots on there. They weren't bad but didn't have the pleasant deep tone of the Rinehart's. Rinehart's are a bit pricey but in the end I wish I would have gone that route from the start. Definetely worth it. I don't think they make a long pipe for softails if that's what you're after. Staggered and flush cuts is all I believe. But don't be fooled by their length. They definetley have the sound. Eastern Performance (sponsor on this site) had a good price and quick delivery.
