Redline, Amsoil, Lucas, Mobile 1, HD, Bellray and on and on and I also know you can run the 20/50 in all 3 holes but I choose not to. I much prefer and Amsoil 75/140 in my tranny. I have a SE 6 speed so why run Motor oil in a transmission. I prefer to run gear lube and I have even been talked into in trying the Redline before I hit the streets in the spring. Shifts better, hits neutral everytime, no clunk and very quiet. THE MOST important thing is to use Full Synthetic......
I have an 09 HD Elec.Glide that I purchased new a couple weeks ago. I'm taking it in for the 1,000 mile service this week. I requested to have them put Bel Ray tranny fluid back in, but they said that the thicker fluid has caused the neutral and 6 speed indicator lights to not function properly.
I'll bet a few years ago they were telling their customers that synthetic is too slippery and will cause the roller bearings to get flat spots! (I actually heard one guy try to tell me that.)

Ha. Yup. Bearing skate. Invented a term for a non existent problem. Red-line shockproof heavy for your tranny. Motor oil is for motors. I don't care what anyone says. Oil companies make a specific product for the tranny,so that's what I use. And good old rotella t 15w40 in the primary. It has the JASO spec for wet clutches and is dirt cheap. But everyone is different. Use what you like

Yep I heard that one too. My neighbor bought his glide a few years back and they told him not to run synthetic for that very reason.... He ran Mobil 1 any way and never had a problem
