Default new heritage softail

I just traded my sportster 883 for a new softail. Had a driver seat backrest placed for comfort, however when riding my back barely touches the backrest so it's basically useless. This is the reason I bought the seat in the first place. Any suggestions how to rectify this problem? The options the dealer has given is replacing handlebars and cables, this is costly just after the new bike cost--- any help?

If your'e pretty close to the backrest maybe a set of pullbacks, I had the same problem and this solved it for me.

Mine are 1 3/4". My stock cables worked fine. Not much room to spare but they worked. Good luck.

Hope it works, about the least expensive fix, plus pullbacks look cool, to me.

get some from a deluxe. they're on ebay alot. You'll need the risers and the clamp though because the spacing is different on the bolt pattern on the deluxe.
