I'm glad that antlered rat didn't get the best of you! I work for the fire department and the last Harley wreck I responded to was a deer induced high side. The bike injured the deer but the rider's buddies made sure it was worm food. As good a reason as any to carry a pistol....
That's also why I bought the $500 HD Deer Avoidance System (DAS) when I ordered my Rocker, and it came with free lifetime blinker fluid changes.

I have been off for a few days. I want to thank all of you for your kind words. This is what bikers are all about. Looking after one another. Hope to be sharing the road with you fine men (and women) soon.
Almost forgot, to those who asked I had jeans and leather jacket on with a helmet. I almost never wear a helmet, however it was cloudy when my day started out so I grabbed it to help me keep warm. Luckily it was cloudy and cool because the leather and helmet let me walk it off. I had a pretty bad scuff at about the hairline area of the helmet and my leather was scuffed all over.
Glad to hear u r ok, sry about the bike.. Living here in AZ dont have to worry about deer only crazy drivers.. The bike could be a good project bike...
Man that really sucks, that is one of my biggest fears when I'm out riding, there are a lot of deer out where I live, I have come really close to hitting one of them damn things plenty of times. The bike looks really messed up, but I hope you're doing okay!!!
What do you call a deer with no eyes? No "i deer"?
What do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs? Still no i deer?
What do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs and no pecker? Still no F%$&ing i dear?
