what is the holy grail of solo seats?
i loved the comfort of the stock crossbones seat but not so much the looks.
i currently have a larosa seat which looks good but gives you numb nuts after 40 odd miles.
im looking for something thats looks amazing and gives my poor *** all day comfort it has to be solo though as im about to change my fender
Hi, Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. I don't know about the most comfortable seat, however I do know that many people who were uncomfortable on their seats before have a new outlook on riding after adding floorboard extensions. I took my stock seat and cut it with an electric carving knife and added some different padding as well. It makes all the difference. Out goal is to increase your comfort ad infinitum. The thing about the cross bones seat is that it looks really hard to me. I would get something with more rise in the back for lower back support. The problem with comfort on a bike is that what Joe likes does not alwyas appeal to John. Try some floorboard extensions and see how that helps. Tehn if you still need another seat add that.
i thought the stock seat was very comfortable i just aint sure about the look and at 32 its about the look and the ride maybe when im 52 it will be about comfort.
its the larosa seat thats numbing my nuts
