I have mine off more than I have it on. But as you stated, "it keeps you on the road more". I put mine on if there is a chance of rain, or if I will be traveling along ways at night. Sure helps keep the bugs off me...lol
Yeah....I've got a Sundowner seat and saddlebags for my NT, and I'll be ordering a Windvest for it shortly. If I had 20 grand burning a hole in my pocket, I'd buy a Road King. As it is, I'll ride the **** out of my 'Train in all weather.
I just bought a new 2009 softail delux two weeks ago and have been out as much as weather permitting. I just got the windshield installed yesterday. Coming from sport bike background with full face helmet...to riding my new Harley with just a "bucket"...I am looking forward to riding with my new windshield. Yeah...I know...but I'm a girl...and damn those bugs can hurt like hell!
