Are you talking about removing the standard tins?
If you are the latest Horse Backstreet Choppers Mag has a bike featured like that.

I am torn between this same look or a dual headlight set up.

By the way how hard is it to remove the nacelle? I haven't gotten into looking into it, and the repair manual doesn't show anything about it as the stock setup is for the flat tin and headlight casing. So there is no description of how to remove it or what is involved. But I plan on doing it next weekend, any tips would be great. Thanks for all that have replied and a thank you in advance for those that will reply in the future.

The nacelle is easy to take off.Four bolts, two on each side where it mounts to the upper forks. You also have to remove the headlight and a ring thats held on by about 10 screws

I can't remember, but it seems I had to pull the tank to disconnect the wires for the head light. I do not think I could get the plug to feed out the headlight housing.
Either way, it is not a difficult job. I marked the mounting block with a Sharpe in two spots to realign the headlight. Also, if you touch the tank disconnect the fuel line first , or you will have to buy a new one for $45.00.
I have the HD service covers for my tank and front fender. If you do not, I would still cover them with some towels. You never know when you are going to slip with a wrench or drop something

128, you need a fat trim ring on that headlight to fatten it up a bit.

I am thinking of getting one, nice touch. I think trim ring looks good with the aux lights.

.............would like the aux lights on mine, but then would need a different windshield...i think.
i have seen riders with the aux lights and they do appear brighter/easier to see in on coming traffic. Always good to be seen & heard! ( yeah I like the loud pipes ...LOL )

Cheers all.
