What saddlebags are you guys running on your night train? PIcs would be great...
I have a bag like Chaz is talking about on my Night Train. It's great for putting a few extra things in. BUT don't buy the LaRosa brand. They are pieces of $hit!! Get a Leatherworks or Garage Leather brand Or SOK. You can fit more than you would think in one of those bags.
I have a t bag style bag for when me and the wife go off on a trip or something. It works great. There is a pic of it in my album.
Most of these guys (including me) don't like the look of saddle bags on a Night Train. BUT it's YOUR bike and you shouldn't give a rats *** what "these guys" think about it. As long as you like it. Just because it's a Night Train don't mean you can't put saddle bags on it. That's like saying you can't drink hot chocolate out of a coffee mug.
There are alot of saddle bags in all different price ranges. I just bought a set off ebay that's slanted kinda like my solo bag for $52.00 total. I bought them to experiment with and see if I can make a solo bag with the left one. Figured they were cheap enough to try it.
i run an 03 train with the willie and max throw over bags they have a black chrome maltese cross on them it really goes with the bike well and are a full size bag
i got them from jp cycles they have 2 sizes i went with the larger ones they are more use full
A NT is nothin' more than a standard softail with a lot of black on it.
I see no reason why black saddlebags wouldn't fit real well too.
Get ghost brackets and the tek-leather saddlebags, and they will come off in 2 minutes or less, and then decide what you like. I think you'll like the saddlebags.
When I first started looking for mine I saw that Harley themselves offer a quick release set of bags, a backrest to match, and a no hardware windsheild that clamps on the fork tubes. This was the setup I was looking for go with but have since decided to look for cheaper options.
