that's a hell of an idea dude. but do you actually get any support from it? it looks like it's kinda far back on the seat.
hey Alian waiting for you to see this & reply. yes it actually works lots of support .i know you don't have the seat on any more put when up its in the perfect spot for your back . & i have drag bars on mine with the original bars it would probably be even better. got over a 1000 km with it on not one issue. & when you hammer down it holds you right there.
not sure why I'm not getting a lot more response from you guys .is it the patent pending i got on it. no worries anyone can make it for your own bike. you just can't make & sell them . I'm not selling them ether right now just seeing if there a interest in it. so all the feed back i could get from you guys & galls would be greatly appreciated. thanks. bikermike.
might cover the back at a trim shop so it wold look even better.
I took my stock pillion and cut it down for solo riding and back support, and then had a trim shop make a new cover to match the bags spots.
its even better for support than the big HD touring seat I got the wife.
ya you cot me. lol. just trying to get a reaction from the guys must all be out riding. couple of months ago there was 5 ' 6 threads asking for something like this. now that summers here everybody's back better. lol.
Haha. At first I thought someone had ripped off your idea and tried to take credit for it since I didnt see the sculls. So I went back and found your original one and saw it was you just posting again. Thanks the lost minutes of my life haha.
Well that's usin your noggin. Not very attractive from the backside but very functional. If you are in need of back support sometimes functional supersedes the look.
If you are worried about looks you can always go with a Corbin seat and backrest...but it will cost you a lot more!
I use my backrest on longer rides...best money I've spent so far!
Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. I think that is a great piece. A backrest is not there to look good anyway. It is a functional piece and on occasion function outweighs form. Good work Mike.
ya I here ya. so I added these skulls. think Im going to get the flesh mount lic skulls for the seat to. even if I have to re tap them. what you think cool.
Mike put some thought into adding a rack for carrying a 12ver might come in handy a little more room couldn't hurt
