seen 08 streetglide at rally for 17900 1000 miles thought about swapping 08 rocker with 10000 miles i owe 17000 and they only want to give me 15000 for rocker would i be better off keeping rocker help me out
yes rocker has 10 thousand miles the streetglide is from a used car dealer said he buys repo from hd fiance i wonder if miles on streetglide are correct
So if they give you 15K for yer' Rocker and they want 17.9K for the glider thats a trade difference of 2.9K
So tax the 2.9K at say 8% and now you have 3.1K to which you then add back your payoff of 17K making your bottom line before any down payments or DOC fees a whopping 20.1K on a used car lot Street Glide??
Ouch.
Certainly he is offering your more for your Rocker than would an actual HD dealer as his bike is a tad high as well.
If you love it do it. Resale will be night and day better on that Glide than yer' Rocker. I would be writing a check for at least 3 grand to keep the financed amount in this stratosphere though. You would be actually better off owing 20 grand on a 1000 SG than 17K on a 10,000 rocker!!
