Buy a lift, the money you save, could be your own.

It shouldn't really be too hard, my fat boy is lowered 2 inches and I think I could change my oil and tranny fluid without a lift...but I have a lift so it's hard to save for sure.

Yes it is possable. Just use a small drain pan. It is more of a pain but it can be done

Yep, those old school galvanized drain pans are about 2 - 3" deep, can get em from Auto Zone, that should do you just fine.

Get a couple of pieces of 4X6 and roll it up on them with a block under the jiffy stand. Shouldn't be all that difficult to do. Might want someone there to help when you are rolling it up just in case I'm wrong.

I have to raise mine up a couple of inches to get my Sears lift under it with the frame protectors installed.

This is what I use to lift it so I can use the lift.

Tom here. The oil can be done on the side stand. I never use a lift fo the crank case. The tranny can be done lowered too. You have less room to move around and see, but it can be done like it is.
