Somewhere along the line in my reading here I saw a picture of a AC that someone had made. They took the center off of there stock intake and put a different filter behind it. I really hope I am explaining this right. Well, I thought that looked really good and I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on how to do this or point me in the direction of someone that could do this for me. I really like the NightTrain cover (at least the center part of it) but want more air flow.
TOM HERE. iF i REMEMBER CORRECTLY THEY CUT THE STOCK BACKPLATE TO FIT THE FILTER THAT WAS FOR A CHEVY BLAZER OR SOEMTHING LIKE THAT. Sorry to shout. I cannot for the life of me remember the person's name though.
Before I got my round A/C cover I just cut the middle out of my ham can stock cover and put it over the end of my filter. Now I put it on my round cover.
