Default drag bars on fatboy

what drag bars are everyone putting on their Fatboys I bought a set of 8" drag bars havnt put them on yet but they look a litte short cant really tell untill I put them on,also did you have to remove tank or can you just slide it back to get to wire conectors

The tank can be slid back to access the plugs that you need to get to. I Do not ahve drag bars, so I can't help on the rest of your qeustion.

When I changed out my bars, I removed the tank. Some people just slide it back as just mentioned, but I wanted the room to work and not have to worry about scratching/denting the tank. For comparsion for your 8" bars, my bars have a 9" rise. They are made by White Brothers, but a lot of people use Carlini or Wild Ones.

If you have an EFI Fatty, remove the fuel line to the injectors first. If you move the tank at all with the line connected, you will break the line. The new line cost 45 dollars and is normally in stock at the dealer.

It is a quick disconnect. Push up on the collar, pull down on the fuel line. No special tools required.

it is pressure release type fitting, just like on an air hose.
