Noticed last year the same deal after run the bike hot for i dunno like an hour
gettin low on gas stop , fill up, start bike it idles real high..sounds like 1500-1800 rpm then after a few minutes boom back to normal.????????
ive been reading bout xied's probably gonna get em,but besides that
bike runs great.what causes that type of idle? thanks in advance
mike
If its any consolation going from hot and low on fuel to hot and full o' fuel on my old no 02' sensors Night Train typically causes me to have a slightly higher idle as well.
1800 RPM's? I dunno about that but its certainly noticibly higher.
Unless we are both insane and share the same weird idle obsession condition?
Just a set of Narrow 12" mini's PC'ing em gloss black and gonna mount em in a late model Heritage chrome 1 3/4 riser....
Kinda sucker punch sally style. Narrow on the bottom at 6" 31 tip to tip...7" of pullback so I can rotate em' way foward in the riser for that Joe Kid on a Stingray look?
I'm thunkin' its gonna work and get the look I'm after as I'm also adding an LA Jockey foot clutched jockey shifter with some sort of crazy old school shift **** later this month...LaBriola is like 2 months behind in getting the Jockeys machined up and man there is a serious waiting list.
I'm thinking old white ivory **** paired against these old school 61-62 tank emblems...If I can ever man-up and get to taking my stock Train emblems off without my hands shaking so badly I walk away in disgust!!
