Default 08 springer question?

The Bones is my first springer, 7000 miles and had the Dealer do the 5000 last fall. Today after a wash I was tapping the springs and one is firm with no flex and one will flex a little when I tap it. I leave for Laconia on Wed. and want to know if this should be a concern and is it an easy adjustment or should I go to the Dealer? It rides fine but will be doing 1500 miles over the next week. The owners manual says nothing and I have never gotten around to getting the service manual. Any help from some springer guys would help. Thanks

Which Springs are we talking about here. I can at least check mine and tell you what their doing. What are you tapping it with?

Do you have a service manual as well as an owners manual? <edit> Sorry I must have skipped over the part where you said you didn't</edit>

I have a manual so can tell you the torque specs if needed.

Ok, looking at my manual and this isn't something that your going to be able to pull off with out a manual assuming you need to do more that tighten the acorn nuts

Yes, it's the one you are pointing at, the left is firm with no flex like they have always been but the right spring now has some flex in it. When it tap it with my hand it flexes, not as stiff anymore.
I will take it in to the dealer this week before I leave and order my service manual today. Should have already done it.
