Well, I just received the tombstone housing and plate relocation bracket from Softbrake for the Deluxe and finally got it installed. Everything went together well however Im not too please with how the rubber seal from the houseing doesnt seem to seal the bottom of the housing too well. The seal seems too big to sit flat between the housing and turn signal piece. Has anyone had any problems with this and what did you do to fix it if anything? The seal sits on the relocation bracket leaving room for water/debris to enter the housing on the bottom. I thought about a dab of silicone but dont really want to go that route.
It also looks like Im gonna have to get a plate frame as my license plate is a bit smaller then the bracket. I was hoping I wouldnt have to but it looks like I will.
Any suggestions on the housing seal would be appreciated.....
