Thanks for the feedback guys. I definitely dig the dark custom look all black with some chrome. I love the lowered look and the black shorty pipes.
Can someone fill me in on how to lower one of these? How much can i expect to pay for a used 2007 or 2008?
Lowering costs about $20 on ebay or $1700 if you get air ride. If you get the cheapo it takes an hour or so (2 if your on your own).
I payed $14600 out the door for my 07 with 7100 miles, about 3 months ago.
good luck and PLEASE dont get the fury, that thing is hideous. as Chaz mentioned you might check out the rocker, but expect to pay quite a bit more than $14k for one.
If you are going to put your own touch to the bike the night train is by far the easiest way to go, so many custom parts are available it will keep you amused for ages.

Darkman! you're a sight for sore eyes bro. How you been?
As for the OP, hit he stealership and give a few the go round. My train has never failed to please. The ladies love the sport look and all the rocket riders stare when she rumbles to life.
I would pick the Night Train also... Too bad HD has now dropped the two best bikes they had.. .The Wide Glide and Night Train... well the two best IMO...
