Engine "fin" cleaning

I have an 07 deuce with the black engine with silver "fins". Im not sure if thats what they are actually called. Anyway, some of the fins look dirty and not bright shiny bare aluminum like the rest. any ideas on cleaning these? any cleaning products that will cut through the dirt that won't hurt the black paint on the engine?

Nevr dull, or any good metal polish like mothers. If they are really corroded you can sand the edges down.

Clean it up then try some pig spit on a microfiber cloth and polish. Works well for me or S100 engine

Pg spit is good too, but if there is stuck on grime on the finds, polish them individually.

Been using SIMPLE GREEN for 5 yrs. no issues!!! Motor looks the same as the day i bought it!!!

i use the car wash, just dont use the engine degreaser as some will dull the entire bike
