Just purchased my first Harley.Attachment 116890 It's a 2002 Heritage Classic. Going to be asking way too many questions. I would like to lower it at least and inch maybe more. What's the best thing to clean the bags with that keeps the rain/moisture from penetrating ?
Personnaly i would go to a western store that sells saddles. I use a good quality saddle soap to clean the bags and good quality mink oil for water protection that i bought at my local western store.
Here's an updated pic of mine. I recently swapped the stock bars for Fat Mini Apes & ran the wires internally. I also added the Battistinis Tri-bar Air Filter Cover. The chrome lower forks, rotors & wind deflectors were done over the winter. I also took out the hub on the front wheel to open it up. Just a quick cell phone picture. I have the matching derby cover (Battistinis Tri-bar) coming in & would like to replace the leather tank panel but there aren't too many choices yet for the cats eye dash. I'm done for now.
