I just installed RUSH 1.75 slip ons on my 2008 FATTY about a week ago. They are awesome. They have a nice deep, throaty sound at idle and cruising speeds, but if you crack open the throttle they are pretty loud. I changed from stock because when I ride with my friends I couldn't hear my bike. This last weekend I road on an MDA ride with about 2000 bikes and never had trouble not hearing my bike, however it is not deafening.
If you go on youtube there are videos that you can play to hear how they sound. Just punch in RUSH SLIP ON MUFFLERS and several videos come up.
I hope this helps.
I have 2.0 on my bike they sound very good but if I had to do it again I would go 1.75
as someone else said the 2.0 gets a little loud on a long interstate run.

Thanks for all the info and suggestions. I've about decided to go with the Rush slip-ons 1.75's. I'm going to call fuelmoto today and see what their pricing is.
Fatboyusa, I did like you and others suggested and went out to youtube and checked out the differnt sounds.
So can I conclude from this thread that - the larger the baffle, the louder the note? I'm trying to find the right slip-ons for my '06 Street Bob, this will be the last piece to my puzzle. I also would like the deep fat tone but not the volume. How does the baffle size impact the performance say from 1.75" to 2" to even a 3"?
i had rush 2.25 and lost much tq and it would set off car alarms at idle. the 1.75 gave back the tq and would only set off alarms if i got on the throttle
I took the bike in for the 1K service yesterday. They had a night train with a set of Rush Slip ons 2" baffles. The bike was in the show room and they were loud but sitting there idleing and they sounded sweeeeet!
On a side note the Casey, a Saleman, confirmed that MoCo will be discontinuing the Night train, Street glide, 883 custom, low rider and couple of other models I don't recall right now. He didn't know if they were coming out with new models to replace them or not.

I guess I only like the bikes that no one else buys. I really liked the Deuce when I got it then they stopped making it. More of my favorites are the Street Glide and Wide glide.
Oh well lets see what's next

Glenn I'm with ya there, Wide Glide, Street Glide & Low Rider are what I like also. So it sounds like the larger baffles sacrifice torque. Is that correct?
