Did that in a school parking lot. I was essentially trying to find a weird angle the would mess me up.

I couldnt find the angle even on hills until my ankle got tired of holding that heavy SE clutch spring down for an hour!!

My foot basically refused to follow a lwfull order and slipped off the peg. Bike went clack and died on the spot. Didnt even move foward an inch...

I have 10:5-1 Compression on a decent build. I know the higher comp Harley motors detonate and essentially wont run well below 2000 RPM much less take me into oncoming traffic at idle? My bike wont idle away from a stop sign. Let out the clutch with no gas? It dies. It needs gas to run!!

Was the install pretty straight forward? It seems it. When I get it I will be hitting you up.
It was easy.

I had an issue with a bolt that wouldnt snug down short of that? Cake.

Man your stuff worked out awesome Travis. I used wires form you controls to extend mine and stay color coded...I used both the throttle cables and the clutch perch.

I saved the clutch cable for when I sell it and get one of those new Honda Furys...Man have you seen those?.

Talk about badass chopper off the showroom floor. Fury is on my short list fo' sho. OCC sticker on the fender, lots of Kuryaken sweet chromed plastic bits and pieces.

Pffffffftttttttt

I saved the rest for future projects. Man I'm so stoked to have an extra master cylinder!!

Thanks again for the "Homie Hookup" bro.

I owe ya' one for sure

Hey, Chaz, instead of boiling the emblems, just pack used, wet coffee grounds on them and let them sit overnight. I've done this with guitar parts and it works well. Cool looking setup, for sure.

Aha...OK heres the dealio. Back in the day most Harleys and at one point I wanna say every big twin produced had a foot clutch and tank mounted shifter.

What this means is where you think a shifter should be on a standard bike its actually a clutch that functions just like the clutch on your bars with a cable attached to a foot clutch lever instead of a hand lever. The shifter isjust a metal shaft connected directly to the shift arm.

So the routine is like a car basically. Start bike. Press in foot clutch. Click manly jockey lever foward into 1st gear. Key word here being "Manly".

Then simply let the clutch out with your foot and motor up the street. Time to shift into second gear? Press down clutch with foot click lever back one click and now you are in 2nd. Keep clutching and clicking into the desired gears! Reverse that to downshift.

Oh-Uh...Stop sign? What to do....OK click the shifter downshifting as usual cept when you are about to downshift to first? Do a half shift into nuetral smoothly coast up to the stop or red light.

Green light...Repeat above sequence.

Its loads of fun!!

Rick the owner of LA Jockey told me more than half of the guys he sells to are floorboarded guys.

Cheesecake is foot clutching on his Bones...He has boards too!

Cheese...Where would I get tobacco juice? A spittoon? Do they sell tobacco juice? If they do I wanna drink some...No I dont.

The foot clutch is a walk in the park compared to rear brake sliding my KTM 300 on and around an 8" wide trail on the side of a mountain with 300 foot drops 180 degree switchbacks, and dead logs that need to be jumped....

I use my Moto skills in all facets of riding. It makes everything else seem so derned easy!!

Think off road bike as well Cheese. Good exercise and very challenging.

Nice job Chaz...ya got me thinking about it now. One question though, does the shifting interfear with a passenger, ya know, hitting legs/knees, that sort of thing?
