Pipes/Air/ECU
I'm new to the forum and to Harley. I am coming off of a Kawi MeanStreak...nice bike, but not a HD. Always wanted/needed a Fatboy, so now I own an 09.
So, I plan to put pipes(possibly Bub Jug Huggers), air and some type of fuel management on. When I did this to the Kawi, I had to rip all kinds of hoses out, take an air cross over tube off, install a blocking plate, stifle the solenoids, blah, blah, blah.
I don't see any of that junk on the Fatboy. My question is: Do I just put the pipes on, put an air cleaner on and match the appropriate fuel management map to it?

be sure to get a fuel management or you will run too lean and like crap. i run the thundermax with auto tune so i have no need for a dyno tune. there are many opinions on fuel management for doing what is called stage 1. just search the forums and you will find them.
