Default Tires??

I need some new tires but since I'm pretty broke so I was looking at the Shinkos on egay. Anyone run those? Any others around the same price range to check out? I bought my Springer with Maxxis Classics on it and they are abouth wore out.

If you are short on funds I suggest that you either park the bike or find the funds cause there are two things you don't skimp on and thats tires and brakes. To many idiots on cages that can do some serious damage....

I have the same thought process...
You get what you pay for...

don't know anyone who has run them... but I would guess you would be looking at an Ill handling low mileage tire.... JMHO

I have been running Shinko SR712 tires on my Ironhead for 10+ years. They wear good and do great in the rain.

I have an indy buddy that has sold a pile of Shinko's over the past decade to guys on a budget. He never seems to have anyone complain.

I haven't ever used these tires, so I looked for a test. Interesting info here. I won't switch from my Avon's, but if I was bucks down I might consider these.

Tires are one of the most important things on a bike. You shouldn't skimp on something that could fail at 80 mph and kill you.

I will echo that tires are crucial and I would not skimp on them
