I been running Shinko on my 08 Train for some time now and I can only say good things about them. They used to be Yokohama, and were bought by Shinko a few years ago. Yokohama supplyed tires for bikes as OEM tires on lotts of bikes for many years. A lot of the crotch rocket guys here in Florida use them and thats where I got turned on to them. I went to a 200/50/17 instead of the 200/55/17 on rear and run the MH90 on the front. Great handling, much better in rain than the OEM Dunflops. I am getting around 6500 miles on rear and 9000 on front. Check BikeBandit.com out for Shinko tires. Great guys for service on web.

Thanks daddyknuck, good info there, you do not have to pay mucho bucks for the big brand names to get a great product. I try to not get caught up in the ( I got to buy the best cause so and so says it is the best) hype. I like to try something out before I condemn it. Thanks again

Thanks for the info! Which style Shinkos are you running? How do they look mounted?

They are round and black!! No really go to bikebandit.com and look at them. They have pics of all the Shinko tires. I am not at my bike now, but I think the rear is the 005 and the front is the MH90/21. I will get back to ya, I have pics on my home puter, I am at work now. They offer 3 diff 200/50/17's for the rear.

[quote=DaddyKnuck;5182472]I haven't ever used these tires, so I looked for a test. Interesting info here. I won't switch from my Avon's, but if I was bucks down I might consider these.
