Default No Front Fender

I have an 07 Night Train and I am about to pull the trigger and get a new front wheel that is 21"x3.5. I know that the stock fender will not fit with this wheel. What can you all say about having no front fender? What is the biggest disadvantage or biggest drawback. I will eventually get a new front fender but for the short term I was thinking about running without one. Thank you in advance.

Until it rains you are all good....

Then? Not so good.

I dont like the rocks flying up on my bike when running no fenner in any scenario.

yeah, i've thought about running no front fender either. I wouldn't worry about it too much when it rains (you are going to get drenched anyway if you get caught riding in the rain). the one thing that i would be concerned about though is the rocks that you can kick up and hit your bike. other then that, it's a bad *** look.

I just put my fender back on. Rocks are not a big concern. The biggest things is rain or wet roads. Any kind of water on the road is going to get thrown in your face. If you dont ride in the rain you will be good, but if you ride a lot would go with front fender.

Fab up a simple riser for your front fender so you have the option. I'm not a no front fender kind of guy. I guess I'm getting older...

When it rains your gonna get hosed anyway true, but ya tend to get a lil more in the face due to lack of fender but hell its all good, plus they're aint much of a fender there so its not a huge diff in rocks gettin slung... im bout to put a long boy fender on mine shortly...

It's all about the individual's wants. I love my Train without the front fender. Don't think I'd run a Heritage, Deluxe, or touring bike wthout one tho. Rain and wet roads aren't so bad. The occasional rock isn't much either. The thing that sucks the most is SAND!!
