What is wrong with 2007 FXSTC???

What is wrong with 2007 FXSTC???
I am looking for a used fxstc, preferably a 2007-2009. I am kind of curious as to why there are so many 2007's available and so few other years, even going back to 2001. I've not seen anything about an inherent issue with this year but kind of makes me wander if I should be avoiding a 2007? Thanks for your input.

well i have a 07 and i love it. dont think im alone either its a great bike. they did have a recall for a battery caddy upgrade, but that should be sorted by the dealer. it was no big deal. other than that i dont know of any issues, get a test ride you will love it.

Yeah it is weird. I have searched and have not seen any reports of flaws in the 2007 but when I search ebay and cycletrader.com for 2001-2009 fxstc under $15K the return is like 80%+ for 2007. Because of the price filter I can see maybe not seeing many 08-09 bikes but where are all the 01-06 bikes?

I think they quit making the FXSTC custom after the 1999 model and
didn't come back with it 'til 2007.....
or something like that......

SoftailC, what type of seat is that? When I eventually get a softail it will be the seat that is the first to go if it still has stock seat. I don't like the look of the stock seat, the backrest is too low for my wife's liking and also not sure if they make a t-bags sissy bar bag that will work with that sissy bar.
