Default Arlen Ness Mirrors on Rocker C

Hi, anyone running Arlen Ness Rad 3 mirrors on their rocker? How do they compare against the stock mirrors, (rear view etc). Stock mirrors give me restricted rear view as I can't see past my shoulders unless I move about. I think the teardrop design on the Rad 3 takes the end of the mirror further out so it should be better. Any input appreciated. Thanks

I think I have the smaller version (the Rad II). Whatever I have... I like mine.

I also had a hard time seeing past my shoulders with the stock handle bars and mirrors. My stock mirrors used to vibrate a lot too making it hard to see.

When I went to the Arlen Ness mirrors I also changed out my stock bars for some mini apes. The combination of the two fixed all the problems I was having. I see much better out of my new setup than I ever did with the stock setup.

if those Ness mirrors are chromed then i wouldn't buy them, the chrome is probably going to peel off in 6 months.

Arlen Ness is a JOKE !!

I have the Arlen Ness Rad 3 mirrors and the visibility is better than the stock mirrors.

You have the same grips as me and looks as if you mirrors come out to almost the same as the grip points. Should solve my problem when I get the money to buy them. Had any problems with chrome coming off?

I run the Tailfin mirrors by HD. Very much like the Arlen Ness mirrors. I also lowered the rear end and put a higher rise handlebar. This got the mirrors above my shoulders. Another way, and much cheaper, would be to put the mirror extensions on. They will raise the mirrors up 2", which may be enough to clear your shoulders.
