Default Easy brackets for FXSTDI

I have a 01 Deuce and I just got my C&C solo pro seat. With the solo seat and no sissy bar for my T-bag I’m looking at saddlebag options. I really hate the brackets left behind when the bags aren’t on the bike. I’ve found two types thanks to talking to friends and this forum Easy Brackets and Ghost Brackets. The Deuce doesn’t have the two stock screws in the chrome strip on the sides of the rear fender like other Softails, it’s solid. There are brackets specific to the Deuce with an adaptor chrome piece that bolts on under the fender saving any drilling in the chrome or the fender. I’ve seen brackets with bags for all other Softails on Ebay but of course they don’t come with the FXSTD adaptor. I’ve found the adaptor sold separately. What I need to know, is the center to center measurement of the holds in the typical Softail brackets the same as the FXSTD sold separately? If so, I’m thinking I can buy the Softail bracket with bags on Ebay at a much lower price and then buy the adaptor separately.
