It has been a while since I've posted. I had to take a short break from riding due to a second neck surgery. One day I'll get around to washing my Deluxe.
I wanted to share my new to me 2013 softail deluxe. It is my first motorcycle. Shopped for a while before I found this one. It had 218 miles on it and looked basically brand new. In the second pic (excuse the horrible background) you can see I have added some axle and pivot bolt covers, visor ring trim all around, lay back license plate and nostalgic crash bar. Also took off the rear seat. Loving this so far. Thanks to everyone on this forum for all I learned before my purchase.
Thanks for the awesome picture of your bike. I just bought a 2018 deluxe Saturday, vivid black with gray pinstripes. I will be adding a windshield within the week, now I need to find bags. I refuse to pay $850 for Harley bags. Viking doesn't seem to be up to date on the on the new models as they say I might have to move the tail lights. Yeah, not happening.
I had Viking on my sportster and really liked them. Anyone have any suggestions on detachable hard leather bags for the 2018?
