Thanks, pictures don't really do justice. I was a little iffy when I seen pictures before I went to look at it. Once I saw it in person, I bought it.
I can relate... I looked at a dragon fly green deluxe and mine in Pa. last year. Wouldve bought the green one if it had a six speed and the bigger motor.
Hey guys, I sold my Electra glide classic awhile back cause I was tired of the geezer glide and wasn't going on any trips just ridding around locally so wanted to get another softail, always liked the deluxe when they first came out! In my opinion (and the wife's) they just have the classic harley look, so went shopping around last month an was actually looking at a wide glide at the dealer that was priced right , but wife didn't like it an she turned to the Deluxe setting there an said I like this one get it, I told her it was more expensive but I'd love to have it , she said happy anniversary get it, 26yrs married, I love that woman!
I got a 2012 with 3000 miles on it, doesn't look like it's ever been outside! My last softail was a 1988 heritage that I rode for years before I got a dresser, no comparison with the 2012, 103" an six speed, I could easily take a trip on this thing once I fix a few things.
I'm 6'4" and about 280, so gonna have to make a couple of changes, I see some of you mentioning shaving the seat, what exactly are you talking about? I love the low stance but need to scoot back about 3 inches.
