Wrinkle Black Cover Swap
Ok guys, so I've been looking for wrinkle black covers for my 08 bonz. Ive been very patient. Finally, I bid and one a complete set on ebay. $400. They are from a NT, the guy got the chrome cover kit when he bought the bike and the wrinkle covers have no miles on them. I'm not a master mechanic, but i do like to tinker, the only covers I'm concerned about changing out are the rocker boxes. I think I can get away with loosening the tank enough to get in there, but I'm not sure. Are there any other tricks or tips you guys know about? Any help or tips are greatly appreciated.

the covers are easy enough to change over. the top trans cover is a little nippy. the top rockers are easy you can get them by taking of the tank bolt near the seat and looseing the front one.lift the seat end of the tank up and stuff a towel or something between the frame and tank this gives you enough room to change over the covers. the lower ones are alot harder hence i havent done them..........yet
