Some members have said the hard edges of the swingarm bag damaged the paint from rubbing on the swingarm. I took the precaution of applying the softside of the Velcro strips on the area of the bag that made contact with the swingarm.
I strapped my bag on and noticed after the first 500 where the straps were rubbing the swingarm. I ended up making a bracket and hard mounting the bag to the bike using a powder coated steel bracket. It works very well now and looks good.
No marks on the frame have made by my La Rosa bag but like Chaz I've had to dye it to make it look right. It's adequate but if I knew then what I know now I would have gotten one of the better bags.
any pictures of the bracket and would you be open to making the bracket for other HDForum members (hint, hint)?

I'm still dillicking around with my crappy LaRosa Jammer.
I must love the abuse it gives me as every week its a different shape and color.
The Indian heads are better than I thought on yours as that whole indian head theme held me back on that bag originally....Naw I was just being cheap as heck!!
Think I will hafta join you riding for team "Quality Bag" and let my old hat ran over in the road Larosa go.
Seriously when this lil' Chit Sack arrived in the mail it had bright white threading...I had to die all the threads, dye the bag as it started looking ugly fast, shine it with Kiwi boot polish once a week, rub it with mink oil and all the leather straps didnt fit so its attached with big fatass zip ties...
Man La Rosa's suck. Word to the wise? If you want a solo sack? Buy one like Slayer has!!
What size bars do you have on your bike? Also where did you get the cool looking bib? I've looked every where I know to find on that is plain and not padded looking.

Just a heads up 'cause you're new here.
This thread is almost 2 years old, and Chaz passed away some time ago.
No problem. BTW, there's a couple of Night Train sub forums here, you should check them out. Anything you're looking for, someone there probably has it, or knows where you can get it.
