Adjustable Passenger Floorboards for Softail
I finally got tired of looking for something aftermarket to fit my Heritage. My wife is 5'3" and couldn't quite reach the floorboards over the baggage bars. A shop here in Salt Lake built a set for me and they worked great on a ride out to Nevada. They built them so they'd swivel about 180 degrees and had adjustments for height and floorboard angle. Very Kewl!!! I'll try and post some pics in the next day or so.

Here are some pics. They use existing Harley floorboards and rotate on about a 180 degree arc til they hit the exhaust pipe. The shop milled a slot in the riser so that they can be raised up to about 2" (second pic), and they also made the floorboard angle adjustable. The wife gave them a thumbs up after the Nevada ride!!

Mine are infinitely adjustable through that approx 180 degrees of rotation. The shop that did mine for me is Black Arc Welding and he can be reached at blackarcwelding at g mail dot com. He told me he may set the pattern up on a cnc machine, complete a few sets, and offer them on ebay. I had looked at several of the well known mfg's including Harley, Kuryakyn, etc.. and didn't see what I wanted. While doing some electrical work at his shop one day, I told him what I was trying to find, and he said he thought he could make a set.

Here is a pic he took prior to finish grinding and powder coating. This way you can see what he did behind the standard Harley floorboards and how adjustable it is. I actually traded him out in electrical work at his shop. He needed a couple new machines wired up. His email is blackarcwelding at g mail dot com. He told me he may build several sets and put them on Ebay. Email him and ask.
