Interesting so many folks here dislike the purple.
I tried to find a Fatboy in the purple haze, but couldn't, so I settled for the Red Sunglo. I see a lot of red bikes, but have only seen a hand-ful of purple bikes. I was thinking I'd name it "Grape Ape" and put some big old Ape Bars on it.
Personally, I like the purple...

I saw one of these and think the color is kinda cool. It's certainly different. So what is the opinion on a purple monster? Was it a special edition color? I think it was a 2008. Lots of chrome.

It's a 2008 fatboy and the color is purple haze purple and was a custom factory color made for 2 months in late 07 for 08 model yr. I have one and that one doesn't have much chrome other than factory.
Not bad, considering this post is from 2009 and the OP hasn't been on since 2012.
