Got my SS cables from Hill country customs. They are great quality/priced and arrived in 3 days. Give them a try. Also great customer service. I just told them what set-up i had and they knew just what cable length i needed.
Ordered my black pearl lines and cables from Magnum Shielding 2 days ago. Got a call from Maria in their c/s department yesterday making sure I knew what I was ordering. She stayed on the line with me for 25 minutes while we went through the various banjo angles and lengths.

The lower half is the same black stuff you have now.
The Chromite II clutch cable is are braided SS for the full length.
Are you sure that this is still true? Looking at the pictures on the HD website, it looks like the Diamondback clutch cable is SS braided full length and has chrome ends at both ends?

Looks, but isn't. Look at the pic again and the first thing you notice is that it may be a real cable, but it ain't gonna fit any bike I have ever seen. Its more of a mock up like they have hanging on the walls of a dealer to show what they look like.
If you look at the pic you can see that the cable is black between the adjuster and the trans door end. Its just that the cable is so short it looks like its all braided, when its not really.
I went with the Magnum Chromite II's I live in Minnesota so I ordered them from Dennis kirk ordered on Monday and they came on Tuesday and they have the best return policy of anybody if it isnt right theywill refund or replace no questions asked I did the brake, clutch
and throttle cables when I put on the fat mini apes
