Looks good. Can you show a side profile pic of that new license plate you've got? About the tape, I'm afraid of taking it off and having the seat rub the paint off. I ride solo most of the time too, but when my wife does ride, I want something under the seat to protect it, so that's why I'm thinking about that fender bib. Anyway, adcuevas, good looking bike. Keep up the good work....
Hey guys. Though you'd like to see my new rear end. I was in the shop and saw this on the 75% off rack, so I snached it up for just under $100. It was chrome, but a few coats of primer and a few coats of satin and voila. Removed the turn signals and threw it on. I got so many positive comments on it today. The only problem is it was supposed to come with a triangle piece the covers up the 3 bolt holes where the license plate mount was. So I covered them up for now till they can order it.
Against my wife's wishes I also bough the derby cover. She didn't think it would look good till I put it on.....We love it!
And LAST, I promise, in regards to the clear rear fender sticker. I removed it on my Train and on this bike. I ride solo 95% of the time and hate seeing it. Is it col to take it off. I just put a microfiber cloth under the seat when she rides with me.
Don't ask about the tape. The damn camera flash kept reflecting off the license plate!
Thought I'd post a pic of mine. Got it Oct '09 and managed to put only about 350mi on before the 1st snow. Will be putting a set of 14" Apes on it this month or next and continuing to black out more of the over all scoot. Back rest is off about 90% of the time.
So the tank bib could be something I put down when the wife rides and just removed when she doesn't. I felt the bottom of one the other day it it seemed like a nice felt. SO the rear seat just goes right on top?
I'll get that side pic later today!

Looks good, keep up the good work on the blacking out. I'm not sure how much more I'm going to black out. I like the contrast of the satin finish on the engine. There may be a few more items that I go more black with, but not much. I like mine the way it is, right now.
For the time being, I painted 3 screws black, but it was supposed to come with a triangle piece but it was missing from the package. They ordered me one. It just mounts above what is installed and looks seamless.
