I know I promised to post up some pics of the new Night Train with the lowering kit in the rear and the street slammer bars that I just picked up last friday, but things, they are a changing. I am dropping it off on Monday to have the new thunderheader installed as well as the heavy breather and the thundermax.
My new front wheel arrived on Wednesday and it looks great it's a Slotted Six-Spoke Wheel - Textured Black. The parts guy loved it he said they had never ordered one in the 21" size and he couldn't get over how much better it looked with the longer spokes instead of the short ones on the 16" wheel.
So since am pulling the front wheel off anyway and the bike will be down for a couple of days until the rest of the new parts get there, they are going to send out the fork down tubes and the headlight and chrome parts of the forward controls to get powder coated (flat black to match the motor). And since they are taking the front forks apart for the powder coat I decided to add a Progressive 2" lowering kit in the front end too. Should have everything put back together next friday the 31st. Going to be a long week.
Oh My Garsh!!!! 21"?!?!? you gonna have to change the gearing to run that? haha! just kidding... cant wait to see those pics! good luck!
