For those who have been riding a while, can you recommend the most comfortable passenger seat and backrest for an '06 Softail Deluxe. I don't mind spending the money, but I want to be sure to get the right one. If momma ain't happy.....
Smart thing is to get rid of the whining wife, you would be suprised, within a year or so without the wench you will have enough extra cash to buy another bike
As a passenger a bit on the heavier side I can tell you that this seat did nothing to to really help except to put off the pain about 20 minutes longer than the normal seat. I am not sure if changing the passenger foot pegs will help or not, my Husband and I are looking into getting a mustang seat or finding someone to make a custom seat to fit me.
I like my Sundowner pretty good. The wife never rode with me with the stock seat.......she seems to like the Sundowner tho. I do have a detachable backrest too. She likes the shorter one better than the large one. Of course nothing I do will suit her now. I made the mistake of renting an ultra and taking her on a weekend trip. Heck, she didn't even want to get off the bike when I gassed up!!
