how tall are your risers?

i'm going with 18 inch apes and i'm still trying to decide how tall i should make my risers.

 

I don't get it. I've posted pics on sites plenty of times without a problem but this site hates me. Anyway, I have 12.5 Apes with shorty 1.5in risers and they fit me perfect. I'm 6 foot and my arms are straight out. I probably would be fine with 14's as well but I think any higher I'd be pushing it. I rode a bike with 18's years ago and my hands kept buzzing and eventually fell asleep. I had a tank lift on it but when I went to the Apes they hit when turned all the way so I took it off. If I went to a 3in it might have cleared but with the Apes on it I'm happy with the tank in the stock position.

 

The apes look good - give a nice look to the Rocker - enjoy -

 

Those apes are sweet. m i k e had no probs with a tank lift and 16"ers. With or without tank lift the apes look awesome....one day soon I will find myself with them

Red and M I K E your scoots with those apes look killa, however you need to push them forward and when you think you have gone far enuff push them some more....

 

ohh, didn't realize that the width of the apes at the bottom would make a difference clearing a tank that's been lifted. i think i found the answer. thanks mike
