I have a 1984 1/2 FXST that has a starting issue. It was turning over very slow, but now doesnt turn over at all. When we got into it we noticed that most of the wires going to the starter solenoid were melted. We repaired or replaced the damaged wires and the solenoid. The problem is still there.

Any suggestions??!!
