Default Bruce Rossmeyer, RIP

Bruce Rossmeyer, godfather of Destination Daytona, died today in a motorcycle crash in WY on the way to Sturgis. I was just in his store in Daytona today and it was a real sad place. Here's the article: http://www.news-journalonline.com/Ne...ruce073009.htm

wow! sad to hear that. two years ago at Daytona Bike Week I went to Destination Daytona, bought two t-shirts there, went outside, sat on a curb next to a ice cream stand and Bruce saw me looking at my shirts and then asked if he could buy me a ice cream cone. We sat and chatted, I didn't realize it was him until someone told me. super nice guy.

Really sad to hear that. The local Superintendant of the school district here in Mansfield, TX just died earlier this week in a motorcycle crash. He had just retired and was on a 5 week trip celebrating his retirement. His is wife is in critical condition, please keep the family and her in your prayers. He died in South Dakota, ironically.

Wow...this is a scarey story. Shows none of us are immortal on our bikes. Definitely not good press for Harley or the motorcycle industry in general. When its your time...it's your time...He sounded like a good guy...RIP.
