I'm trying to document the whole customization of my cross bones, so I went back today to take some more pics. It is a lot further along than the last time I checked, but there is still a ways to go. Most of the front end still needs to be changed, as well as the foot controls, pin striping, etc...
They really want to ditch the crash bars. Now, I see their point, but crash bars DID save my leg once. It's a tough call.
Its coming together nicely. Are you going to do anything with the gas guage side?
I'd like to, I just dont know what can be done about it. Another forum member has one in brass, along with the gas cap. I think that would be a great look, especially if I could get the starter **** changed to brass. As of now, there are no plans though.
BTW, the RSD filter is gonna go too. A black old school air intake is what this bike needs.
