Default New ignition module wiring question

Had a dealership install a new ignition module on my 94 fatboy recently. Noticed one of the wires is resting on the engine. Is the wiring on these heat resistant enough to withstand resting on the engine? Or has the tech done this knowing it's going to eventually cause a problem? J/K...

I just need to know if I should unscrew and move it off the engine....?

Is it bolted to the engine like a ground wire or just laying against it?
Where on the engine is it laying?
Near the heads or cylinders? Photo?
I would move it away from the heat source.

it's not attached to the engine, but rather resting against the ribbing on one of the engine heads (correct term?) when I say ribbing, I mean the ribbing that people sometime have diamond cut (does this make sense?) i'll get a pic for you so you can tell me.

If its resting on the head or cylinder (ribbing) It doesnt belong there.
Move it away so that it doesnt melt through.
If you are not comfortable with moving it, I would take it back to the shop and ask them about it.
Wiring should not touch the head or cylinder. Big time heat.
Good luck. MikeM

thanks dude... appreciate it. Something I can probably do myself. Just shocked... everytime I go to this place... something isn't right. These guys are supposed to be professionals. I think short staff and too much work has them rushing through everything.
